This privacy policy explains how Beantown Laundry ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use beantownlaundry.com and our laundry pickup and delivery service.

• When you schedule a pickup: your name, mobile number, email address, pickup address, the services you choose, and your pickup day and time window.
• If you answer the optional questions after booking: roughly how much laundry you have, how often you'd like pickups, access instructions for your building, your detergent preference, a promo code, why you're using us, and your birthday (month and day only).
• When you order or create an account: your order history, preferences and payment information, handled through CleanCloud, our ordering and payment system.
• When you contact us by email, text or the chat on our website: what you send us.

We also receive basic technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, through our hosting provider's logs and the cookies described below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Schedule, pick up, clean and deliver your orders
• Send you order confirmations, pickup and delivery updates, and reminders
• Respond to your questions and requests
• Check whether we serve your address
• Improve our website and services
• Send you marketing messages and offers, only with your consent

Text Messages (SMS)

We only text you if you agree to it. When you book, you can choose to receive customer care texts about your requests and orders, marketing texts with offers and promotions, both, or neither. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only what they need to do their job:

• CleanCloud, for orders, payments and customer accounts
• LeadConnector (HighLevel), our customer messaging system, for texts, emails and the website chat
• Mapbox, which looks up the address you type to check whether we serve it
• Cloudflare, which hosts and secures this website
• Google Analytics, which measures how the website is used

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies for the chat widget and for Google Analytics, which tells us how visitors find and use the site, such as pages viewed and time on site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features, like the chat, may stop working. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

Data Security

We use appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Payment card details are handled by CleanCloud and its payment processors and are never stored on this website.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information for as long as you're a customer and as long as we need it for our business, legal and tax records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your Rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing emails or texts at any time. Email info@beantownlaundry.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
